Beast by Night…

Opens for 2017 on Wednesday 25th January – Burns Night

Discerning diners are in for a treat as Beast has finally opened its doors to the public! We opened on schedule, November 17th, to a full house and great reviews! Getting our new venue ready has truly been a team effort and a huge THANK YOU goes out to all the in house staff, and contractors who have made this possible.

The menu is, of course, the star of the show, and what a show it is:

Starters range from Scallops, Pulled Pork and Roast Chestnut Fritters with pea puree, to Yorkshire Chicken and Ham Terrine with Yorkshire piccalilli and homemade bread.

Move on to mains, and the choice is mouth-watering. Go for Grilled Seabass Fillet or Duo of Lamb, Braised and Rump with creamy garlic potatoes and minted peas. Or, choose from the steak menu with a selection of 28 day matured Sirloin, Ribeye or Fillets.

Those with a sweet tooth won’t be disappointed either with a choice of a sharing plate for two that includes Gingerbread Treacle Tart, Chocolate Brownie with Peanuts, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. There’s also a cheese board if you prefer to finish on a savoury note.

Everything is prepared fresh to order. You’re really getting the best Yorkshire can offer and it honestly doesn’t get much better. Especially as everything on the menu is locally sourced whenever possible.

Beast is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm. (closed for first 2 weeks of January and last 2 weeks of October – due to Pumpkin Festival!). Every Sunday  from 4:30pm for a REAL Farmhouse Kitchen Table Roast – just like going to Mrs Copleys for dinner!
