2009 saw the introduction of a long awaited café, which was built for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. The café has been a major success and we put this down to the simplicity of the café & farm shop ethos. There is nothing complicated at Farmer Copley’s it is simply home and locally sourced foods, prepared fresh just for you. So place your order, take a seat and then enjoy.
Moo Cafe has had another re-fit in the kitchen, thus allowing us to produce a wider variety of dishes cooked fresh for just for you. We are now into the Pumpkin Festival and thus the menu is featuring lots of pumpkin related food, I can strongly recommend the Pork & Pumpkin Sausage served with Champ, and for desserts, Grandma Janets Pumpkin Cake served warm with lashings of fresh cream is an absolute must. The Boo-Nilla Sahkes are a great treat for children young and old this Halloween.
Once the Pumpkin Festival is over the new Moo Cafe menu will start, with lots of new dishes and dates for our Autumn/Winter Gourmet Nights will be announced. The Moo Café team is spearheaded by Mo, with his team we call the Mooettes. You will find them a very friendly bunch of girls for whom nothing is too much trouble.
‘There is always a warm welcome from the friendly staff at the ‘Moo Café’. Excellent food and drinks are always available in an authentic atmosphere – Sunday Lunch is a treat not to be missed.’ Keith & Margret Allport, Upton.
We like to catch our future clients as young as possible, children are always welcome. They are the future, and we have a Mini Moo Menu to cater for their every need. We also have the small open farm area and farm walk plus a coin operated digger in the shop itself. Also don’t forget all the different events throughout the year, all of which appeal to people of all ages including young children and big kids (you know who I’m talking about!).
Access from the car park into Moo café is wheelchair friendly, as is access to the toilets. High chairs are available in the café. We also try to cater for any special dietary requirements, including Celiac (gluten intolerance). Please just ask one of the Mooettes and they will do their best to accommodate you and your guests needs.
Party and business bookings are taken for weekday breakfasts and afternoons. We can also accommodate a funeral tea in the afternoon for small groups, which is quite useful as we are located virtually opposite the crematorium.
Moo Café is open 7 days a week 9:00am until 6:00pm (last orders 5:30pm), Monday to Friday, Saturday 9:00am until 5:30pm (5:00pm last orders), Sundays & Bank Holidays 9:00am until 4:00pm (last orders 3:30pm).
